Designer, Artist, Entrepreneur.
JC Loewe is a multimedia artist, composer, and designer. As a consultant, he applies his passion and creativity to user and customer experience design, brand building and marketing, team building, and product development. JC is currently pursuing his second master’s degree, an MBA with a concentration in Marketing, to propel his business and entrepreneurial goals.
Working simultaneously in quantitative and qualitative thinking, he has led multi-disciplinary teams to create user-centered products. These projects encompass a wide variety of industries, from luxury services to B2B technology sales. His innovative designs have come to life online and in print for businesses large and small, established and start-ups, across the globe.
JC is focused on building collaborative, innovative, effective teams to solve problems in an ever-changing networked economy. He believes team dynamics are harmoniously entwined with the creative process, and product management and development.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, JC Loewe came to the Ozarks to recuperate following a serious injury. He fell in love with the beauty and serenity of the local environment, and decided to re-locate to the Springfield, Missouri area. As a nature lover, he enjoys outdoor activities — hard to find in Chicago but plentiful in the Ozarks.
JC is steadfast in his goals, both personal and those defined for clients. A voracious reader, he is endlessly inquisitive, studying a wide array of subjects, fostering his business interests.
He was a finalist in several German-study competitions, such as the Deutscher Sprach und Schulverein Essay Contest, earning him the opportunity to study at the Christoph-Scheiner Gymnasium in Ingolstadt, Germany. His studies there included mathematics and Russian. A few years later, upon entering Indiana University, he was awarded two years of undergraduate credits in German for his command of the language, and became a member of the Linguistics Club. Today, he continues to pursue his love for languages, including German, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, and Arabic.
JC Loewe’s undergraduate study focused on music composition. His original works won multiple awards, including the Morton Gould Young Composers’ Award, and have been performed in several countries and featured on radio programming.
His composition studies included electronic music, and collided with computer programming. This led JC to study software engineering at Marquette University, where he was Merit Scholar and member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honors society.
JC’s Bachelor’s with Honors in Music at Indiana University culminated in multimedia works for live performance, installations, and screenings. He earned numerous grants, awards, and artist residencies for these pieces, including the Indiana University Honors College Grant.
Unable to find a suitable match in traditional music conservatories to continue his creative work, JC entered the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to pursue his MFA, with a full scholarship as a Trustees Scholar. There he produced multimedia artwork, focusing on human-computer interaction. He also taught courses on programming, electronics, and media.
While a graduate student, JC was resident artist at multiple organizations, including the Ecole Superieure d’Art d’Aix-En-Provence.
JC Loewe’s interests in design, the user/customer experience, and project collaboration grew out of his work in composition, interactive art, and teaching. He applies his artistic vision, passion, creativity, and leadership to the professional field. His work in design and team dynamics has been lauded by many professionals in design, marketing, software development, and members of the C-suite.
JC’s additional interests include animation, photography, architecture, spirituality, and travel.
